Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15 year old high school freshmen. His sisters Karin and Yuzu, along with his father, work the clinic of Karakura city taking care of the sick and injured. Though things may seem peaceful, thugs at the school are always causing trouble to those who stand out and Ichigo, with his bright orange hair, is no exception. Early one morning there is a report on an attack made at the corner of the main streets. No one knows what could have caused the mass destruction but Ichigo is quick to investigate. Seeing a faint image of a beast, a mysterious swordsman arrives at a moments notice only to vanish just as fast. Later that night the swordsman is quick to appear in Ichigo’s room as he confronts her. With shock that he can see her, She is quick to explain that she is Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper from the Soul Society, and the beast is known as a “Hollow”. Even so, it is hard for Ichigo to believe this until his sisters are set in front of danger itself. The Hollow makes an attack as Ichigo attempts to fight back. Powerless against the Hollow, Rukia is forced to place herself between the two to protect him. Ichigo is given the choice to protect the ones he loves as Rukia gives her powers to him to slay the Hollow. Now it is up to Ichigo to protect the world along with the ones he loves, one step at a time.
